A Very Merry Christmas!

Note from Alicia:  We are so excited to FaceTime Sis. Larsen this week on Christmas!  One of the couple missionaries serving near the PRS shared the video below of another missionary and Tiffany performing a musical number.   Merry Christmas to you all!

Dear family and friends,

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM SISTER LARSEN AND SISTER ROBISON!!! It's been a bit of a crazy day today so we are putting our heads together to write you all the this lovely email! What a great time of year to be a missionary!

Not too much happened this past week teaching-wise... One of our investigators may have "broken up with us," so we are still trying to figure that one out. Hopefully we will be able to find and continue meeting with those people who are humble seekers of truth! Our other investigators have recently been having some health issues, but are doing well and still willing to learn! It's weeks like this that help us recognize the little tender mercies we are given and appreciate the work that is going on.

(The following story is told by Sister Robison as Sister Larsen laughs her head off) Guess what?! It snowed for one day this week! That means everything was covered by snow, including dog poop. We were being our busy missionary selves, out finding in the snow, walking from house to house, then got in our truck to head to our next destination, when suddenly an overwhelming smell filled the car. We began smelling our ourselves, and each other, and could not figure out what the terrible smell was coming from, until we found a little surprise on the bottom of both of our boots. But just like our finale song in the concert, "All is Well," we took care of that problem really quickly!

We put on a Christmas concert on Saturday night, similar to the concert we did for Thanksgiving.

R-L:  Sisters Harvey, Walker, Larsen, special guest performer Josh,
Sisters Martinez, Anderson, Robison

While there were only 6 of us sisters putting it on, we had an amazing turnout, and the majority of the people who came were nonmembers--our neighbors, people we met at the grocery store, friends from the Bible Study group we go to, etc. We had a guest performer, Josh, who the Great Bend sisters are currently teaching, and he really added to our performance with his organ, piano and voice talent!

Sister Larsen and Sister Walker played "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," arranged by the Piano Guys and Sister Robison might as well become the next Dr. Seuss because she read a Christmas poem she wrote and it was so good! It was a great night for all who were there!!

We hope you all remember the reason for why we have this wonderful time of year and the importance of Christmas Day!! We feel so blessed to be here in Susquehanna serving the people here and talking to people about how Christmas is all about Christ and we can carry the spirit of Christmas with us everyday of the year when we write his name upon our hearts! Love you all and Merry Christmas!!

Love,
Sister Robison and Sister Larsen
